Easy Egg Rolls
- Oil, For Frying
- 1/2 pounds Pork Sausage
- 1 cup Carrots, Chopped
- 1 cup Cabbage Chopped
- 1/4 cups Green Onion, Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Teriyaki Sauce
- 10 pieces Egg Roll Wrappers
- Heat oil in a medium saucepan or deep fryer to 350 degrees F. Cook sausage on medium heat in a large skillet.
- Once browned, add in carrots, cabbage and green onion.
- Stir.
- Pour in Teriyaki sauce and cook 10 more minutes on medium-low heat until mixture is thoroughly heated.
- Take one egg roll wrapper.
- Set it in a diamond shape onto a plate.
- Scoop 1/4 cup of sausage mixture onto the center of the egg roll wrapper.
- Fold up the bottom to cover the mixture.
- Wrap in both sides, tightly, and then roll all the way up.
- Repeat with the rest of the wrappers.
- Fry egg rolls in oil for 3-4 minutes, turning to cook all sides.
- Set fried egg rolls on a paper-towel lined plate to soak up the grease.
- Let cool 5 minutes before eating!
- These can also be baked!
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a cookie sheet with olive oil cooking spray.
- Place egg rolls onto a cookie sheet.
- Spray egg rolls lightly with the cooking spray as well.
- Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown!
- (These are great dipped in sweet and sour sauce!)
