Cinnamon Apple Squares
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup Wesson Oil
- 1 34 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups pared chopped apples
- 12 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 12 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, sofened
- 5 tablespoons water
- Batter:.
- In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
- ; set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat together oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla about 3 minutes.
- Add dry ingredients and beat well after each addition.
- Stir in apples and walnuts.
- Pour batter into greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.
- Bake in 350 degree oven 40 minutes or until cake tests done.
- Cool in pan on a wire rack.
- Spread with the Vanilla Glaze.

- In a medium bowl, combine confectioners sugar, butter and water.
- Beat until smooth.
