Adults-Only Molten Cake (Crockpot)

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Cream the 1/2 cup of sugar and margarine.
  3. Stir in the flour mixture and 1/4 cup Tia Maria; fold in almonds.
  4. Spread into a lightly greased 1.4 liter Crockpot.
  5. Combine 1/4 cup brown sugar, the 1/4 cup of Tia Maria, and the hot water; stir until sugar is dissolved.
  6. Gently pour over cake batter.
  7. Cook on high for 1-1/2 to 2 hours (until a toothpick comes out clean), depending on your Crockpot.
