Bakmi Goreng Jawa Recipe
- 1 1/4 kg Egg noodles Oil
- 20 gm Garlic paste
- 40 gm Leek stalk, minced
- 40 gm Cabbage, shredded
- 30 gm Bean sprouts
- 40 gm Onion, sliced
- 1 x Tomato, sliced (80 g.)
- 20 gm Red chilli paste
- 4 tsp Soya sauce, (20 ml.)
- 4 x Large eggs, scrambled (optional) A healthy pinch of ajinomoto Salt to taste
- BRING plenty of water to a boil.
- Add in a few drops of oil.
- Add in the egg noodles and boil for two min.
- Drain the noodles and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a wok.
- Add in garlic paste and saute/fry for two min.
- Then add in all the vegetables, the boiled noodles, red chilli paste, soya sauce and the seasoning.
- Toss well for one minute.
- Serve warm, garnished with scrambled egg if so desired.
