Amazing Chocolate Chunk Cookies

  1. Melt 3 squares or 3 ounces of white chocolate according to package directions.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Cream together the butter and shortening by hand.
  4. Add the sugars and cream together.
  5. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
  6. Stir in the melted white chocolate and vanilla.
  7. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  8. Gradually add to creamed mixture.
  9. Dough will be stiff.
  10. Stir in chocolate chunks.
  11. Preheat oven to 350.
  12. Shape dough into tablespoonfuls and place on greased cookie sheets.
  13. Bake 8-10 minutes.
  14. Don't overbake!
  15. Let cool on sheet 2-4 minutes before removing to wire racks.
  16. Melt remaining white chocolate.
  17. Drizzle over cookies using a fork.
  18. Cookies may be frozen up to 3 months after completely cooled.
