Pizza Pot Pie
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 lb. pepperoni, diced in 1/4-inch cubes (optional)
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1 c. shredded Mozzarella
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan
- 1/2 lb. tomatoes, sliced
- 1 pkg. Pillsbury All-Ready pie crusts for 9-inch pie
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- In nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, saute the beef, onion, garlic and the mushrooms until the meat is browned and the mushrooms are tender.
- Add the pepperoni, basil, oregano and red pepper flakes.
- Stir to combine.
- Turn the mixture into 8 or 9-inch pie pan lined with one crust.
- Top meat mixture with 1/2 grated Parmesan and the Mozzarella.
- Cover evenly with the tomato slices and sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top. Cover with crust and flute edges and make vents.
- Bake
- for 35 to 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
