Irish Sodabread

  1. Cut butter into flour.
  2. Add salt and soda, mix.
  3. Add buttermilk and stir into ball of dough.
  4. Knead the dough a few times.
  5. Place ball of dough on greased pan and smoosh the top down to make a flattened oval about 2" thick.
  6. Bake at 400F 20 minutes.
  7. Then adjust temp to 325 and bake 30 minutes.
