Super Cherry Cola Float

  1. Stir boiling water into gelatin in medium bowl 2 minutes until completely dissolved.
  2. Stir in cola.
  3. Refrigerate 20 to 30 minutes or until slightly thickened (consistency of unbeaten egg whites).
  4. Reserve 1/2 cup gelatin.
  5. Place 1/2 cup ice cream into each of 4 tall ice cream soda glasses.
  6. Top with thickened gelatin mixture.
  7. Beat reserved 1/2 cup gelatin mixture with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
  8. Spoon into each glass.
  9. Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
  10. Garnish each float with a maraschino cherry and sprinkles.
