Buzzing Bran Muffins

  1. Grease a 12-cup muffin pan.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  3. Combine first 5 in a bowl, mix together and set aside for 5 minutes.
  4. Combine dry ingredients in another bowl, sift or mix together well.
  5. Beat together eggs, buttermlk.
  6. Stir dry mix into first mixture.
  7. Stir briefly, then add egg mixture.
  8. Stir together lightly until just mixed.
  9. Fill muffin cups and bake 25 minutes or until muffins spring back lightly when pressed with a fingertip.
  10. Let cool in pan 10 minutes, then serve or let cool on a rack.
