Kristy's Caramel Corn
- 34 cup unpopped popcorn
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- Pop popcorn.
- Keep popcorn warm in 200 degree oven.
- Melt butter.
- Stir in brown sugar and salt.
- Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
- Boil without stirring for 5 minutes.
- Stir in baking soda and vanilla.
- Pour over popcorn and stir well.
- Turn into two cookie sheets.
- Bake at 250 degrees for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cool.
- Break apart.
- Store in an airtight container.
