Glazed Orange Chicken Recipe
- 4 lg. chicken breast halves
- Salt and pepper
- 1 c. orange juice
- 3 tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoon grnd ginger
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch, dissolved in 1 tbsp. water
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place chicken, skin side up, in 7 x 12 inch metal baking pan.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Combine next 5 ingredients and stir till sugar dissolves.
- Pour over chicken.
- Bake 35 min.
- Remove chicken from baking pan.
- Stir cornstarch mix into pan juices and bring to boil over high heat, stirring constantly.
- Return chicken to baking pan; turn to coat.
- Increase oven temperature to 450 degrees.
- Bake chicken till cooked through, about 10 to 15 more min.
