Baked Chicken Oregano Recipe

  1. Place the chicken in one layer in a glass dish.
  2. Combine all ingredients for the marinade and pour over the chicken, cover & marinate in the refrigerator at least eight hrs, overnight is best, before cooking.
  3. Turn chicken occasionally.
  4. Uncover and bake in the sauce in a 375 f oven till brown, 45 min to one hour.
  5. Baste and turn often.
  6. Chicken parts take a little longer than cutlets.
  7. Serve with rice and a green vegetable
  8. This chicken dish makes a wonderful buffet item.
  9. To serve for a buffet: either, cold & slice chicken, put back in sauce to reheat or possibly serve whole pcs.
