No-Bake Flip-Flop Cake

  1. Cut each cake to resemble flip-flop sandal.
  2. Discard cake trimmings or reserve for another use.
  3. Use serrated knife to cut cakes horizontally in half.
  4. Reassemble cakes, spreading thin layer of COOL WHIP between layers.
  5. Place on platter.
  6. Frost with remaining COOL WHIP.
  7. Cut each licorice twist into 6-inch length, making sharp diagonal cuts on each end.
  8. Arrange 2 licorice pieces on top of each cake to resemble flip-flop straps.
  9. Press cut-sides of marshmallows into COOL WHIP on sides of cakes.
  10. Keep refrigerated.
