Finger-Food Okonomiyaki Pancake for Toddlers on Solid Foods
- 2 Potatoes, peeled and grated
- 1/2 Carrot, peeled and grated
- 1 tbsp Cabbage, stalk removed, minced
- 3 tbsp Katakuriko
- 1 pinch Melting cheese
- 1/2 packet Bonito flakes
- 1 tbsp Sakura shrimp (tiny dried shrimp)
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, then mix with a rubber spatula (adjust to your desired consistency with katakuriko slurry).
- Heat a thin layer of oil, then pour the batter into a coin-sized pancake (easy for little hands to hold).
- Fry both sides until golden, then serve once evenly cooked through to the center.
