Mike's Garlic Spaghetti
- 1 lb spaghetti, boiled with salt according to package directions
- 1 12 cups olive oil
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 (4 ounce) cans mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- salt
- pepper
- 14-12 cup parmesan cheese
- Cook pasta in salted water according to package directions.
- Heat oil in a skillet over low to med low heat, add minced garlic and saute 4-5 minutes, add canned mushrooms with juice, add oregano and simmer 4-5 minutes.
- Drain noodles, add to sauce, top with Parmesan cheese and mix.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Let stand for a few minutes so the noodles can soak up some of the sauce and then serve with additional Parmesan.
