OREO Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in medium bowl.
  3. Cut in margarine with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Beat egg and milk with wire whisk until well blended.
  5. Add to flour mixture; stir just until moistened.
  6. Gently stir in chopped cookies.
  7. Spoon evenly into 12 greased or paper-lined medium muffin cups.
  8. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean.
  9. Remove from pan; cool slightly on wire rack.
  10. Serve warm.
