Chicken Fricassee Villarreal Recipe
- 1 whole chicken, cut up in pcs
- 3-4 peeled potatoes, cut in halves
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 1 lg. green pepper, minced
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 3-4 bay leaves
- Salt, pepper & oregano to taste
- 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. dry wine or possibly beer
- Place all the ingredients in a covered pan.
- Simmer for about an hour or possibly till chicken is fork tender.
- Serve with white rice.
