Barbara's Brownies From Elegant But Easy Cookbook Recipe
- 1/2 lb Reduced-calorie margarine
- 4 x Unsweetened baking chocolate Squares
- 2 c. Sugar
- 1 c. Egg Beaters(TM) 99% egg Substitute -- or possibly 4 Large eggs
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 c. Flour Minced nuts -- optional Chocolate chips -- optional
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Spray and flour a 9x13" pan.
- Heat margarine and chocolate together in microwave.
- Cream sugar and Large eggs.
- Combine margarine-chocolate with sugar-Large eggs.
- Add in vanilla and flour; add in optional nuts and chips/bits of chocolate (up to 1 c. each).
- Bake for 30 to 40 min.
- Should be quite wet after baking for really moist brownies.
- Cold completely befor cutting.
- Cut ahead.
- Freeze.
- Place on waxed paper
- "floors"
- when packing.
- Serve frzn or possibly slightly thawed.
- Makes 24 or possibly how ever manybite-sized brownies.
