Fresh Green Beans

  1. Snap off end of green beans - stem side.
  2. Chop fresh garlic clove finely
  3. Rinse off green beans in colander
  4. Boil a large pot of water - add a 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  5. Cook bacon in frying pan over medium heat until bacon is semi-browned
  6. Cut up bacon into small pieces or crumble
  7. Add Green beans to pot and boil until they are bright green - about 5-7 min.
  8. Drain Green beans.
  9. Add olive oil, chopped bacon,2 teaspoons of bacon grease from frying pan, finely chopped garlic, ground pepper, sea salt, and drained green beans to pot.
  10. Mix well
  11. Serve and enjoy!
