Mrs. Criswell's Ginger Cookies

• 1 quart molasses baking
• 1 pint brown sugar
• 1 pint lard
• 1 pint milk sour
• 8 teaspoons baking soda
• 2 tablespoons ginger level
• 1 x flour, all-purpose to make stiff dough

1. Let stand over night.
2. Roll thin, glaze top of each cookie with 1 whole egg beaten light.
3. Bake in hot oven.
