Barbecue Beef and Biscuits
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 12 cup chopped celery
- 12 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 (10 ounce) can tomato soup
- 12 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 (7 1/2 ounce) can biscuit dough
- Brown ground beef with onion, celery and pepper.
- Season with salt and pepper Remove from heat.
- Stir in tomato soup and barbecue sauce (do not add biscuits until baking).
- Place in freezer bag.
- Label and freeze.
- To serve: thaw.
- Place in greased baking dish.
- Bake uncovered at 400 for 30 minutes.
- Cut each biscuit in 4 pieces.
- Arrange on top of hot mixture.
- Return to oven and bake 15 minutes longer.
