Baked Stuffed Yams With Pecans Recipe

  1. Cut yams in half lengthwise and scoop from shells.
  2. Mash yams with butter or possibly margarine and light cream.
  3. Add in pecans and salt; mix well.
  4. Pile yam mix into shells.
  5. Broil 3 to 4 inches from source of heat about 5 min, or possibly till lightly browned.
  6. Top with pecan halves if you like.
