Blue Cheese Dressing I Recipe
- 1 tsp Chopped garlic
- 1/4 tsp Dry mustard, preferably Coleman's
- 1/2 tsp Freshly-grnd black pepper
- 1/8 tsp Freshly-grnd white pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Red wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 dsh Warm pepper sauce
- 1/2 c. Lowfat sour cream
- 1 1/2 c. Mayonnaise
- 1/4 c. Buttermilk
- 1/4 lb Maytag blue cheese crumbled
- In a bowl whisk together garlic, mustard, black pepper, and white pepper and whisk in the vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and warm pepper sauce.
- Add in the lowfat sour cream, mayonnaise, buttermilk and whisk the dressing till it is combined well.
- Mix in the blue cheese and refrigeratethe dressing, covered, overnight.
- The dressing keeps, covered and chilled for 1 week.
