Meat Stuffing for Turkey
- 3 lbs hamburger
- 1 lb bulk sausage
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 2 large stalk celery, chopped
- 12 cup margarine
- turkey giblets
- 6 -7 eggs
- 2 teaspoons sage
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 lb breadcrumbs
- First fry hamburg and sausage until brown.
- In another frying pan saute chopped onions and celery in margarine until soft.
- Then dice giblets and fry until browned.
- Combine all above ingredients in a large bowl.
- Add eggs, sage, salt, pepper and bread crumbs.
- Mix thoroughly and stuff bird just prior to roasting.
