Shrimp Linguini
- 1 pound Dry Packaged Linguini
- 2 pounds Medium To Large, Peeled And Deveined Shrimp
- 1- 1/2 stick Butter
- 2 Lemons
- Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder, And Cajun Or Blackened Seasoning (sprinkled Generously According To Taste)
- 1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/4 cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/4 cups Italian Bread Crumbs
- 1 dash Dried Basil
- Cook linguini according to package directions.
- Preheat the broiler in your oven.
- While pasta is cooking, rinse shrimp and place in a foil-lined broiling pan.
- Slice one stick of the butter and dot on top of shrimp.
- Squeeze lemons over the shrimp, and then sprinkle them with salt, garlic, pepper, and your favorite Cajun or blackened seasoning.
- Broil for 2-3 minutes, and then remove the pan from the oven and stir to distribute the melted butter.
- Put pan back into the oven and broil just until shrimp are pink.
- Drain linguini when done.
- Once drained put it back in the pot.
- Toss with olive oil, remaining 1/2 stick of butter, Parmesan cheese, Italian bread crumbs and basil.
- Spoon buttery shrimp over linguini.
