Pepper Steak
- 2 pounds Eye Of Round Steak, Cut Into Bite-sized Pieces
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cube Beef Bouillon
- 2 whole Green Bell Peppers, Cut Into Thick Strips
- 1 whole Yellow Onion, Cut Into Large Chunks
- 3 whole Fresh Tomatoes, Wedged
- 1- 1/2 Tablespoon Cornstarch
- 1/4 cups Water
- 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
- Cut steak into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, melt butter and add bite-sized pieces of steak.
- Cook until fully cooked/browned.
- Add salt, pepper, water, bouillon cube, green peppers and onion.
- Cook on high until hot, then simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add tomato wedges, stir and simmer an additional 5 minutes.
- Combine cornstarch, soy sauce and 1/4 cup water.
- Add to pan, stir and simmer another 5 minutes or until sauce thickens.
- Serve over hot rice.
- Add more soy sauce to taste.
