Alabama Pasta With Corn And Ham Recipe
- 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 x Onion, minced
- 1 x Red bell pepper, minced
- 1 pkt Frzn lima beans, (10 oz)
- 1 x Cooked ham steak, minced
- 1 can Corn kernels, (15 1/4 oz)
- 1/2 c. Chicken stock
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Crushed red pepper
- 1 pkt Cooked orzo, (pasta)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- In a large skillet, heat 2 Tbsp.
- extra virgin olive oil.
- Saute/fry minced onion.
- Add in minced red bell pepper, frzn lima beans, cooked ham.
- Make sure all is combined.
- Add in to skillet: corn and chicken stock.
- Continue to saute/fry for 2 min more.
- Add in grnd turmeric, crushed red pepper, salt & pepper (to taste).
- Add in pasta to skillet.
- Combine all and serve immediately.
