Baked Stuffed Mushrooms
- 1 (8 ounce) package white mushrooms, medium sized
- 6 tablespoons margarine
- 12 cup breadcrumbs, plain (or 2 slices bread, torn into little pieces)
- 14 teaspoon garlic salt
- 14 teaspoon dried oregano
- 14 teaspoon dried basil
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Clean mushrooms; remove and finely chop stems.
- Place mushroom caps in a shallow baking pan.
- Melt margarine in skillet and add chopped stems, bread crumbs and seasonings.
- Saute about 5 minutes.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with bread mixture.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
