Sweetened Coffee-Flavored Whipped Cream

• 1 c. heavy cream
• 2 tsp. instant-coffee granules
• 2 tbsp. sugar

1. In small bowl, add instant-coffee granules or powder and sugar; add heavy or whipping cream and beat with hand beater or mixer at medium speed until soft peaks form (overbeating causes cream to curdle and turn to butter).
2. On hot days, chill bowl and beaters.
3. Serve cream on fruit or nut pies, or ice cream sundaes.
