  2. Cook until liquid has evaporated and mixture has reduced.
  3. Fruit will begin to break down and juices will be thick and sticky.
  4. Remove from heat and puree mixture in small batches until smooth, returning puree to sauce pan.
  5. Simmer to further reduce if not thick enough; otherwise, ladle into jars and store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
