Crunchy Oven French Toast Recipe

  1. Cut French bread into 1 1/4 inch slices.
  2. Combine Large eggs and half and half, sugar, vanilla and salt in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Place corn flakes and cinnamon in a shallow dish.
  4. Dip bread slices into egg mix, then into bread crumbs.
  5. Place on a greased cookie sheet; cover and freeze for 1 to 2 hrs, longer if you like.
  6. When ready to serve, preheat oven to 425 degrees and bake for 15-20 min.
  7. Garnish with sliced strawberries, bananas, warm maple syrup and whipped cream or possibly any of your favorites.
  8. Great for a brunch setting.
