Planter's Rum Punch
- 1 1/2 ounces dark rum
- 1 1/2 ounces light rum
- 2 1/2 ounces orange juice
- 1/2 -ounce fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon confectioners' sugar
- Crushed Ice
- 1 small piece split sugarcane, or 1 orange slice, garnish
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the dark and light rums, orange and lemon juices, and sugar, and shake with ice.
- Taste and add more sugar if desired, shaking again to incorporate.
- Pour over crushed ice in a tall glass and garnish with split sugarcane or orange slice.
- Serve immediately.
