Brownie Cookies Recipe
- 1/4 lb Semi-sweet chocolate
- 2 ounce Unsweetened chocolate
- 2 1/3 c. Sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/4 lb Unsalted butter
- 1 c. Granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
- 3/4 c. Finely minced walnuts
- Heat the chocolate over warm water.
- Sift the flour, baking soda, and baking pwdr together, set aside.
- In the bowl of a mixer, cream the butter.
- Add in the sugar slowly and continue to beat.
- Add in the vanilla, then the Large eggs 1 at a time.
- Add in the chocolate and stir to blend.
- Stir in the dry ingredients and the lowfat milk by hand.
- When just blened, fold in walnuts.
- Cover and chill dough for 30 mintues before rolling.
- Preheat oven to 375*.
- Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
- To create the cookies, scooop out a portion of dough and rool out on a well-floured surface.
- When dough is 1/4 inch thick, cut it into rounds or possibly other desired shapes.
- Reroll scraps and cut agian.
- Place on cookie sheet (leave room for expansion) and bake for 6 to 8 min.
- Do not let theese cookies overbrown.
- Makes about 48 cookie
