Crispy Oven-Baked Wings

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Toss the chicken wings/drumettes with the oil in a large bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the flour, paprika, salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder.
  4. Add this into the chicken and toss until evenly coated.
  5. Spray the parchment paper lightly with cooking spray.
  6. Place the wings on the parchment lined baking sheet, spreading them out as much as possible.
  7. You may need two baking sheets to allow a bit of space between the wings.
  8. Bake for 50 minutes, turning halfway through, or until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Remove from oven.
  10. Toss the crispy, cooked wings with your favourite sauce and serve immediately.
  11. We like Buffalo sauce or honey garlic.
  12. The wings will reheat well in the oven at 350 F for 10-15 minutes.
  13. Adapted from Todays Parent Magazine (it was from the magazine a number of years ago).
