Caramel Pie
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 regular graham cracker pie crust
- 1 banana
- 12 cup walnuts (chopped)
- 4 ounces Cool Whip
- Remove label from can of Sweetened Condensed Milk.
- Place on its side in pot of water.
- Bring water to low boil.
- Maintain low boil for 3 hours.
- Remove from pot and set aside.
- Slice 1 banana into the pie shell.
- Carefully (once the can has cooled to point you can handle it) spoon the cooked Sweetened Condensed Milk (caramel) into the pie shell on top of bananas.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts on top of caramel.
- Refrigerate until completely cooled.
- Top with Cool Whip when ready to serve.
