Caramel Pie

  1. Remove label from can of Sweetened Condensed Milk.
  2. Place on its side in pot of water.
  3. Bring water to low boil.
  4. Maintain low boil for 3 hours.
  5. Remove from pot and set aside.
  6. Slice 1 banana into the pie shell.
  7. Carefully (once the can has cooled to point you can handle it) spoon the cooked Sweetened Condensed Milk (caramel) into the pie shell on top of bananas.
  8. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top of caramel.
  9. Refrigerate until completely cooled.
  10. Top with Cool Whip when ready to serve.
