Red Velvet Brownie Bites

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Place foil or paper mini baking cups into mini muffin pan cups; set aside.
  2. Place chocolate chips and butter in 1-quart saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture is smooth.
  3. Remove from heat; cool 5 minutes.
  4. Add sugar, eggs, red food color and vanilla; mix well.
  5. Gradually stir in flour.
  6. Fill prepared muffin cups 3/4 full.
  7. Bake 10-12 minutes or until set.
  8. Cool 10 minutes on cooling rack.
  9. Press 1 candy slightly into each brownie bite.
  10. Cool completely in pan.
