Tropical Fruit Salad

  1. Place brown sugar in a large bowl.
  2. Using a paring knife, slice off both ends of each orange.
  3. Following curve of fruit, cut away peel and white pith.
  4. Quarter fruit lengthwise; cut crosswise into 1/2-inch pieces.
  5. Add to bowl.
  6. Cut off both ends of pineapple.
  7. Following curve of fruit, cut away peel.
  8. Quarter fruit lengthwise; remove core.
  9. Cut half of pineapple crosswise into 1/2-inch pieces (about 3 cups).
  10. Add to bowl.
  11. (Save remaining half for another use.)
  12. Halve kiwis crosswise.
  13. To peel, use a small spoon to scoop out flesh from each in one piece.
  14. Slice into half-moons.
  15. Add to bowl; toss gently to combine.
  16. Serve in bowls.
