Ham and Pea Pasta

  1. Brown butter in a large skillet.
  2. Add pepper and ham.
  3. Toss to coat and to separate ham pieces.
  4. Add cream and simmer until cream sauce has thickened enough to coat the back of a spoon.
  5. Add cheese and peas.
  6. Leave the pan on the heat just long enough to cook the peas.
  7. Just before serving, add the pasta.
  8. Toss to coat.
  9. Serve with garlic bread.
