Creamy Smoked Paprika Chicken
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 4 chicken fillets
- 1 large onion, sliced King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 x 400 g crushed tomatoes
- 250 ml PHILADELPHIA Light Cream For Cooking
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- Steamed vegetables, to serve Target 2 lb For $3.00 thru 02/06
- HEAT half the oil in a nonstick frypan, add the chicken and cook 34 minutes each side until browned.
- Remove and set aside.
- HEAT remaining oil and saute the onion and garlic for 3 minutes until softened.
- Add the paprika and cook a further minute then stir in tomatoes.
- Return chicken to the pan and gently simmer, covered, for 10-12 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- STIR the PHILLY, seasonings and parsley through the chicken then simmer gently a further 23 minutes until heated through.
- Place chicken on serving plates, spoon over the sauce and serve with steamed vegetables.
- Serve immediately.
