Salmon Patties
- 1 (14 ounce) can salmon
- 12 -14 saltine crackers, crushed
- 2 large eggs
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- white sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 14 cup flour
- 23 cup milk
- Crush crackers into salmon
- Mix ingredients together,
- Form into palm size patties.
- I prefer a lot of pepper so add salt and pepper to taste.
- In heated and greased pan cook patties on med to low heat until browned.
- Sometimes I use a cooking spray, other times olive oil.
- For sauce:.
- Melt butter.
- Stir in flour.
- Cook and stir until ball forms.
- Add milk slowly while stirring.
- Cook until smooth and thick.
- Add salt and pepper to taste and parsley if wanted.
- Serve patties on platter and pass the sauce.
