Homemade Til Gur For Makar Sankranti

  1. Lightly roast the sesame in a pan for a couple of minutes.
  2. Break the jaggery and heat it with ghee in a large pan.
  3. Stir gently and bring to a light boil.
  4. Add sesame and remove pan from flame.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Pour onto a lightly greased thali.
  7. Knead it a bit with greased palms.
  8. Roll into small balls.
  9. Cool completely.
  10. Store in an airtight container.
