All Bran Bread Pk Recipe
- 1/2 c. Shortening
- 1/2 c. Boiling Water
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1 c. All-Bran(r) Cereal
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 x Egg, well beaten
- 1 x Yeast Cake
- 1/2 c. Hot Water
- 3 c. Flour, or possibly
- 4 c. Flour
- Mix shortening, boiling water, sugar, salt and All-Bran together.
- Let stand till lukewarm.
- Soak the cake of yeast in the hot water.
- Add in the egg.
- mix with the above mix.
- Add in flour.
- Place in a slightly greased bowl.
- Set aside to rise.
- Knead on floured surface.
- Place in a greased bowl, cover and let rise till double in bulk.
- Turn out on floured surface and roll.
- Bake in warm over, 425 degrees for about 15 min.
