Veal And Rice Balls Recipe

  1. In 1 qt microwaveable casserole combine onion, bell pepper, celery, butter and garlic; microwave on high (100%) for one minute.
  2. Add in veal, rice, and oregano and mix well.
  3. Shape into 8 equal balls.
  4. In same casserole arrange veal balls and microwave on high for 3 min.
  5. In 1 c. liquid measure combine remaining ingredients; pour over veal balls.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap, folding back 1 corner to allow steam to escape, and microwave on medium (50%) for 12 min, turning veal balls over every 3 min.
  7. Let stand for 2 min.
