Cranberry Barbecue Sauce

  1. Heat corn oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add onion; stir and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Process mixture in a blender until smooth.
  6. Spoon mixture into a glass jar.
  7. Store covered in refrigerator no longer than 1 week.
