Bruschetta - Philly Style
- 3 medium tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup basil leaves, finely shredded
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 thick slices ciabatta, or similar
- 125g PHILADELPHIA Light Spreadable Cream Cheese
- 4 rashers rindless bacon Rite Aid 2 For $7.00 thru 02/06
- Combine the tomatoes, onion, basil, balsamic, oil and seasonings.
- Mix well.
- Under a hot grill, toast the bread slices until golden and cook the bacon until crispy.
- Spread Philly* over each slice of toast, top with tomato mixture, and serve with bacon.
