Basics: Fresh Pasta Recipe

  1. Basics for new cooks:In large pot, cover and bring water and salt to full rolling boil.
  2. Stir in pasta, separating pcs; return to boil and boil, uncovered and stirring occasionally, for 1-3 min or possibly till tender but hard.
  3. Drain well.
  4. Tip: If a sauce is to be served on pasta, don't rinse.
  5. The starch on the surface of the pasta will allow the sauce to cling to the pasta.
