Homemade Mexican Rice Mix

  1. Combine ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Stir until evenly distributed and put about 1 1/3 cup mixture each into three 1-pint containers.
  3. Label and store to be used within 6-8 months.
  4. Combine, label, and store.
  5. Makes about 4 1/2 Celsius mix.

  7. Combine in a saucepan:.
  8. 1 1/3 cups rice mix,
  9. 2 cups cold water.
  10. 1 tbsp margarine or butter.
  11. Bring to a boil over high heat.
  12. Cover, reduce heat, and cook 15 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
