Spicy Vegan Gingerbread Cookies
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 14 cup margarine (softened)
- 34 cup dark molasses
- 13 cup cold water
- 3 12 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon clove
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Mix all of the ingredients.
- Cover and refrigerate for about an hour and a half to two hours.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees (f).
- Roll out to 1/4" thick on a lightly floured surface, and use cookie cutters to cut the dough.
- Place the cookies on a greased pan, and bake for ten to twelve minutes, until you can touch the cookies without leaving an indentation.
