- 6 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 6 tablespoons of KC Masterpiece Original Kansas City Sauce
- 1/2 cup of minced onion
- 16 slices of baked ham; approximately 1/2 pound or as desired
- 8 slices of American cheese
- 8 sturdy hamburger/sandwich buns
- Heat oven to 400 degrees or an outdoor grill to 350 degrees.
- In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, KC Masterpiece Sauce, and onions.
- Spread on the cut sides of the buns.
- Divide the ham and cheese slices and place on each bun.
- Wrap the buns twice in sheets of foil.
- Bake in the oven directly on the rack for 15 minutes.
- If using an outdoor grill, bake for 15 minutes, rotating half through or until the sandwiches are hot and toasted.
- If starting with frozen sandwiches, bake for 30 minutes.
- Serve wrapped in foil.
