Sauteed Chicken Livers W/ Mushrooms and Onions

  1. Take chicken livers and cut fat and veins off.
  2. Wash livers and pat dry with paper towel.
  3. Add salt & pepper to taste.
  4. In a skillet, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and heat.
  5. While oil is heating, slice the onion.
  6. Add onion to heated oil and saute until almost brown.
  7. Add mushrooms and saute until browned.
  8. While cooking mushrooms and onion, in another skillet, add 1 tablespoon olive oil and heat.
  9. When mushrooms and onion are done, remove pan from heat, keeping food in pan to stay warm.
  10. When oil in other skillet is hot, add chicken livers and vinegar.
  11. Shake on garlic salt.
  12. Cook for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes then turn and cook the same on other side, until pink inside.
  13. Don't overcook livers!
  14. Serve as main dish or as an appetizer.
  15. Enjoy!
